Gameboy Advance(GBA)

The Game Boy Advance(GBA) is a handheld video game console manufactured and sold by Nintendo. It was released in Japan on March 21, 2001 and was released on international markets in June. It primarily competed against Nokia's N-Gage and Bandai's WonderSwan consoles.
The Gameboy Advance offered a more powerful ARM7 processor and improved graphics while also retaining backwards compatibility with Gameboy games. The system was a 32 bit system with 288 KB of system ram and 98 KB of video ram. Although it was not as successful as the Nintendo DS later released by Nintendo, the console saw huge popularity when it first released, with the best-selling game for the console having sold 16 million copies.
